We started building ADUs well ahead of the big demand of 2020 (due to Covid-19 restrictions). While the ADU derived its name from the "in-law unit" in 2020/21 it was commonly built as a home office in the backyard due to Covid-19 restraints. Demand for the ADU continues to grow in 2023.The ADU is also great for rental income as it is an immediate return on investment!
